Delta Wellbeing Community Response Manager
(Temporary for 12 months due to Funding)

£31,371 - £34,788 (Grade I)

 
Delta Wellbeing provides a multi-function call/contact handling service 24x7 across south-west Wales available to people who use social alarms, it deals with out-of-hours emergency calls for all council services and is an initial point of contact for social care to Adults.

As part of an exciting new model of pro-active Technology Enabled Care (TEC) services through the Welsh Government’s Transformation Fund, Delta Wellbeing is looking to recruit a Registered Manager to support the development and registration of our newly formed countywide Response Team. This post will be key in the delivery of the service and its ongoing growth.

As Registered Manager for the Delta Response Service the post holder will be responsible for the operational, day to day management of the service. Ensuring continued compliance within the legislative framework for regulated services and relevant codes of practice.

We are looking for a flexible, motivated individual to support the Responsible Individual and the TEC Prevention Strategy Manager to further develop and assist with the re-design of services in line with commissioning requirements.

Applicants must have access to a vehicle for work purposes and will have experience working in care and hold the relevant healthcare qualification Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Adults Management) QCF or equivalent.

Candidates should also have a good understanding of computers, be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and provide excellent customer care.

Conversational Welsh is required to accomplish this post. Support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
