COVID-19 Support Assistant
(Temporary up to 03/09/2021 due to Secondment Cover)

£19,312 - £20,092 (Grade D)

Applications are invited for a temporary post of Covid-19 Support Assistant from individuals who can demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in being able to respond to emerging business support needs within the Department.

The post-holder will be based with the Central Business Support Team and will undertake a range of business support tasks, including support for Heads of Service; centrally co-ordinated initiatives and projects related to Covid-19; and other administrative duties related to the current emergency.

Applicants require a relevant administrative qualification (minimum QCF Level 2 or equivalent), and experience in office administration, administrative procedures and minute-taking are essential.

As the post will involve dealing with a wide range of people, including the public and partner organisations, the postholder will require a customer service mindset.

Applicants will also need to demonstrate that they are positively motivated, enthusiastic and committed to a team approach of working.

Conversational Welsh is required to accomplish this post. Support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
