Regional Practice Review Business Manager

£35,745 - £39,880 (Grade J)


The Mid and West Wales Safeguarding Board for children and adults CYSUR and CWMPAS is looking for a Practice Review Business Manager to support the delivery of Child and Adult Practice Reviews and Multi-Agency Professional Forums (MAPF’s) across the Mid and West Wales region. Your duties and responsibilities will include working alongside safeguarding leads and senior managers across the region to support the delivery of reviews and MAPF’s, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard in accordance with legislation and statutory guidance as outlined in Part 7 of the Social Services and Well-being ( Wales) Act 2014. This will include the co-ordination and management of Review Panels and support with the planning, delivery and facilitation of learning events, a key part of the Review and MAPF process.

You will report to the Regional Safeguarding Board Manager and will be based in the Safeguarding Boards business unit in Haverfordwest, however a location in any part of the region will be considered and applications from all board partners across the region is encouraged. You should have considerable experience of working in a safeguarding role and environment, a sound understanding and knowledge of the legislation that supports the review framework and a comprehensive knowledge of complex situations in which abuse and significant harm can occur to children/ and/or adults at risk. 

A basic knowledge of Welsh is required to accomplish this post. Support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
