Care Worker (Days)
31 hours per week (Temporary up to 17/04/2022 to cover Maternity Leave)
£18,562* - £19,312* (Grade C) *Pro-rata (weekend enhancement may be applicable)
To carry out the role of Care Worker within your service area and to practice and promote value based principles as outlined in the Care Council for Wales Code of Practice and the Philosophy of Care for each service area and in line with Corporate and Departmental Policies and Procedures.
A basic knowledge of Welsh is required to accomplish this post. Support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.

A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this post.
As part of the Council’s Policy and Procedure it is now a requirement that employees must register with the DBS Update Service for which there is an annual subscription fee of £13 borne by the individual. The Authority will pay for the initial DBScheck.
