Trading Standards Project Officer (Financial Exploitation)

Temporary up to 31/03/2022 due to Special Projects 

£22,183 - £25,991 (Grade F) 

A unique opportunity has arisen to join our Trading Standards team in an exciting and rewarding new role working alongside colleagues within authority technology enabled care team. The purpose of the role is to develop a pioneering new initiative to protect older adults with complex needs from telephone fraud victimisation. 

Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You will be working collaboratively with a range of both internal and external stakeholders and be required to draft and present reports when necessary.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of relevant data tools and systems, and be a competent user of Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, SQL and Power BI. 

Fixed term for 1 year (subject to project evaluation and funding). 

A basic knowledge of Welsh is required to accomplish this post. Support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
