Various hours on offer (job share considered)
Shifts may include 5pm-10pm – weekday evenings
Weekends – 8am to 2pm or 2pm to 8pm
£19,312 - £20,092 (Grade D)
Delta Wellbeing provides a 24hr lifeline service to approximately 27,000 older and vulnerable people, a Telehealth monitoring service, a lone worker service, and an out of hours call handling service for emergency calls. Exceptionally high levels of accuracy and attention to detail are critical requirements of the job, any errors could potentially be life threatening. Delta Wellbeing is identified as a ‘critical’ service in the authority’s emergency planning arrangements.
We currently have Customer Assistant roles available to deliver excellent customer service in relation to calls and communications to the Delta Wellbeing Service, doing what matters to our customers first time and doing it right
We are looking for flexible, motivated individuals who will excel in working as a key part of a team delivering vital services. Individuals will need to achieve high levels of accuracy when operating in a demanding environment along with proficient typing skills (able to touch type whilst taking telephone call details)
Candidates should also have excellent organization skills and a great style when discussing with people over the telephone.
Conversational Welsh is required to accomplish this post. Support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
